Hunter Controllers

The following applies to most Hunter Controllers. Below are instructions to the most commonly asked programming questions. Click the link at the bottom of the page to review hunters full instruction manuals.

Change Days to Water

Rotate the dial to water days.

The day of the week will begin to flash.

Press plus to water on the day of the week that is flashing.

Press minus to remove the day of the week form the watering schedule. You will see a sircle with a line thru it indicating that day will not water.

Use the left and right arrows to advance from day to day.

Change Start Times

Rotate the dial to Start Times. Be sure you see a program A on the screen. If not, press the PRG button until an A appears. The first number on the screen is indicating the first time all stations will begin watering. Press the right arrow until the time is flashing. You may then tell your controller what time you would like for your system to begin watering by pressing the plus or minus buttons. If you wish to remove all start times, press the over arrows until the time is flashing. Press plus or minus to get to midnight. Press plus or minus one more time and OFF should appear.

Change Run Times

To tell each station how long to run, rotate dial to run times. The first number on the screen will be the station indicated and to the right will be the run time. Press the right arrow until the time is blinking. Press plus or minus to add or subtract time from this station. Press the left arrow to make the station number blink. Press plus or minus to change the station number you wish to adjust. Press the right arrow until the time is blinking. Press plus or minus to add or subtract time from this station.
